  • Hi Jonathan,

Yes, I couldn't subscribe directly from the Itunes store. Instead I had to go to the Rippernet.com site and initially subscribe that way for the first time. But after that, on a Monday morning I only have to go my list of podcasts in Itunes, right click your one, and then select "update podcast", and it downloads immediately from Itunes that way.

    Thanks
    Yatish

    • Episode #10

      Hi all,

Episode #10- He is not Dead but Liveth- The Thames Torso Murders, with special guest researcher and author Debra Arif, is online now.

We wish to thank Debra Arif for being a guest on the show this week to discuss this overlooked, but important, case of unsolved crimes that occurred simultaneously with the Jack the Ripper scare.

Thanks also to Robert, Howard and Mike (as always).

We hope you listen and enjoy the show,

      JM

        • Fascinating talk by Debs, my knowledge of the Torso Murders has improved immensely. The description of an abortion made my eyes water, the things some women have to go through.

                • Debs,

Ive done nothing really. I find your work fascinating (as stated) and I always learn something new.

I was mailing Jake the other day and we both agreed that we find such topics, those that are connected to the case though not on the well worn track, an wonderful education that enhances our understanding of the period.

I feel you cannot tackle this case without understanding the life (and deaths) of the time. The tools to do the job.

                  • Catching up--listening to Is the Solution At Hand?

I like his observation that Cromwell has, perhaps, created a backlash against a suspect's viability.

                    Yours truly,

                          • Yeah, well...you know what I mean.

I rely on spell check for 99% of my typed communications and that one slipped by. English degree in hand, perhaps I should have gone to BU?

That's why Covell is supposed to be announcing these things.

But Ally was great on the show.

It has a certain panache when you do it!

                              • I'm afraid I've gotten behind in listening to these as I've been very busy of late but I am anxious to hear Martin (and the other episodes as well).
