Thanks, Gareth. I hope you enjoy it. I've already had complaints that Tom seemed to be chewing gum throughout the interview which in the heat of the battle I didn't even notice. But what's an episode of Rippercast without someone gum chewing, me smoking, babies crying and dogs barking? Just like the old days.

That's what it was! Thanks for the enlightenment, JM

I wasn't disappointed by the podcast, by the way. Great stuff, as usual, and I'm really pleased to see that Tom is still on track to fulfill his promise as a ripperologist.

Yes, very entertaining. Tom is always good value for money.

(I'm glad someone else mentioned the gum-chewing.)

JM deserves a shout out, too - a great product, technically and aesthetically - his delivery is spot on.

The gum chewing actually adds aesthetic value to the presentation.

Gum is for chewing. It's as simple as that. Wearing it on one's nose is punishment.

Enjoyed the podcast and both books. May not agree with all of Tom's theories but he makes his case in a reasoned way and makes you think. And thank you, Jonathan, for providing them for us.
                  Best Wishes,

                    I despise chewing gum.

It could have been the Skype gremlins chewing gum. Like I said it wasn't noticeable while recording.

I'm pleased with the sound (compared to last time) and especially the content. Tom is one of my all time favorite interview subjects and its great that he takes the time to discuss the case so in depth with the show so that we can present this stuff to our listeners. Absolutely free.

Thanks to all those who sent in questions.
