Great documentary, thoroughly enjoyable. One thing leapt out at me. Did Aaron Kosminski have a relation living in Goulston Street? Is it beyond the realms of possibility that he may have stopped by his relatives the night of the double event and took refuge under the pretence of a visit or a need for something whilst going home. The murderer doesn't go to ground and then leave the apron which is why PC Long did not see the apron at 2:20am. He is in his relatives home in Goulston Street. Kosminski continues his journey home after 2:20am dropping the apron as he passes Wentworth buildings and then PC Long finds the apron at 2:50am.
I really enjoyed the documentary. It was informative and factually accurate, so don't take the following as a criticism. The documentary identifies Aaron Kosminski as the most likely culprit, reasonable given that a Kosminski was Anderson's/Swanson's suspect. But we have no evidence that it was a "definitely ascertained fact" that Kosminski was the Ripper as Anderson suggested, (other than that he said this was so), and we also aren't 100% sure they were referring to Aaron Kosminski. So, how do Kosminski proponents view Aaron? Is he more likely than not to be the Ripper, or just the best of a bad lot of suspects?

Just a thought.
This Ripper going to ground for a bit before dropping the apron actually fits with Jacob Levy much more than Aaron Kosminski.

Which is why the title of the documentary finishes with a "?"
Asking a question, not stating as fact
I can't speak for the others involved but here is my personal position, it's not changed much in the last 15 years.
I believe that Anderson and Swanson, fully believed they had their man.
However, I accept they could have been mistaken.
For me Aaron is the best fit for Kosminski, on the evidence currently available.
Indeed the 1890 visit to the Workhouse, then returning to his brother, fits Swanson's comments like a glove.
The major issue is the died soon afterwards.
Which either means it's not AK, or maybe the transfer from Colney Hatch to Leavesden got misreported.
