    Thanks very much for taking the time to transcribe PC Hutt's letter, Monty. I did mean suspicion of Jews by certain of the local population rather than by Hutt himself and probably should have expressed myself better.

    I had no idea Hutt was a man of letters. Given his rather chequered police career, he must have been a very interesting character.

    Didn't clock the pub. Will have to look again.

      Hutt was a very articulate man. He wrote a few letters and was a published poet. Look at Chris T Georges blog for the evidence.

      However, he was nigh on sacked for assualting a man in the witness box at Moor Lane, which wasn't touched upon last night.

      The pub chosen for SPE to speak in cannot have been by sheer chance.
