Yes they do and if they are caught lying it is perjury just like in a trial.In order to know virtue, we must first aquaint ourselves with vice!

Some of the Jewish atheist witnesses at the Stride inquest affirmed instead of swearing on a book, but I imagine the same penalties for perjury would apply.Comment
