  • missing body part timing in the Battersea Mystery Case

    Greetings, due to the fact that I was unable to provide a certain date to the finding of the foot by Inspector Edmund Walker on the Battersea, I wanted to ask if someone can tell me when Mr Walker exactly found the foot or if it is lost in history.

      Does anyone know which Regent's Canal murder from (1871?) this 1874 newspaper article refers to?

          Walker found part of the leg in Lambeth on Saturday September 13 from Nottinghamshire Guardian 19 Sep 1873, Fri. Did Walker also find one of the feet?

              The first article is about the 1874 Putney Mystery but it mentions this 1871 Regent's Canal case I wasn't aware of
