    Im with you Philip,

    Her hair falls toward the back of her head as opposed to striaght down.

    Then again, maybe rigor mortis has kicked in.

    We need Rob Mac here to clarify but Im sure that Ive read (or it may have been in conversation with Stewart) that the Met victims had their mortuary photos taken in either caskets or on planks of wood whereas the City Police, with Eddowes, had her hooked up against the wall. This mainly to show the extent of her injuries, and this was the easiest way of doing that.

    I agree that she seems to be lying horizontal
    I don't see how the folds of the cloth could maintain that shape if she were upright

    I'm absolutely sure that Philip is right, and I've thought so since the first time I saw this photo. All the people who have published it seem to think that we are incapable of turning our heads.

    Superb work, as usual, Chris.

    Can we discuss something here? I'm in two minds. I have a feeling it's possible we view this image the wrong way and she's actually flat on a board, not upright.
