I’ve just been buying books with birthday Amazon vouchers. One of them was this one about Frances Coles. I don’t recall seeing it before but I probably have done and forgotten about it. I bought the Kindle version for £7.76. I was slightly concerned about 304 pages on Coles but I saw that one of the Amazon reviewers was Tom Wescott who gave it 5 stars.

I’d have expected a book on Coles to have been more of a pamphlet but this is 304 pages and TW gave a glowing review. It’s always good when you see amongst the Amazon reviews a review by someone that you know knows about the subject.
