First, looking at it honestly I thought of Roshach "ink blot" tests. After all, you are supposed to read what the blot looks like.
Yes, I see several arrangements on the wall that can be imagined as faces. But this is not difficult to figure out. Even without additional staining on the walls from poor Mary's blood splattering on them, she was living in a poor neighborhood, in a cheap lodging house, and I don't think a happy staff was available to do thorough room cleaning in her lodgings regarding her walls. Basically it is one's imagination to do the rest in her soiled rooms.
One of the faces made me think of a recent photograph that UFO lovers were pointing to as proof of extra-terrestrial life on Mars - an apparent large carved head. It was (when the picture was more carefully examined) chance rock formations. No sphinx need apply.
One of the faces made me think of Queen Elizabeth I of England. As she died in 1603 I felt she could not be a relevant suspect.

I'm with you on the photos and usually try not to even look...it was someone mentioned the FM and I was wondering why I could never spot it...the truth is its only visible on the brighter photo.
Reason I've posted this is that it looks nothing at all like blood splashes. It was a painted wall I think and not papered so we can rule out patterns from paper...they look for all the world like excellent sketches to me.
So as far as I'm concerned it's circumstantial evidence
If I can get that image by taking a photo of a photo in a book on my mobile I wonder how well it could be enhanced from the original photo under lab conditions
The possibility of sketches on Kelly's wall...how would Sickert fans react to the possibility
Either way it's something new foundYou can lead a horse to water.....

I once owned a rental property (never again) and when one lot of tenant left there were all sorts of drawings on one wall.
So what.G U T
There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.
