The split femur as claimed by Nick Warren, surgeon, Brenda?

I'm really not sure!! I just remember a LOT of discussion and someone outlining it like I have just done. In my opinion, I don't see how such a clean cut split femur could be accomplished without a bone saw.

I am not aware anyone is but wasn't an issue as to whether it was a thumb or pinkie the position of the body shows that it must be a thumb

I do remember this split femur thing spurring on a theory that perhaps the Ripper may have also utilized an ax.

I have no medical training, and honestly the photo is just a mess as far as I am concerned, so I really can't make any meaningful assessments. All I know is that IF that is femur, it is puzzling how using a knife only could have cut so clean lengthwise.

As far as Nick Warren, I am googling but so far can only come up with his assessment of the Eddowes murder.
