Richard,
Words failing you is certainly a new phenomenon, but I am afraid you are absolutely right about the book. It will be interesting to see the reaction of others, especially the board's resident John "Uncle Jack" Williams expert, Jen Shelden.

Hi,
I must admit it has all the hallmarks of a great tale, and 'IF' it is not intended to be fictional, it could be one of the most discussed publications since the subject became popular in the media.

A question to all the stylish ladies, (or gents) who wear lockets.
Do you have a sketch of your loved one in it, or an actual photo?Regards Mike

If the locket pictured on the book jacket is the actual locket Miss Alexander's grandmother discovered in her mother's belongings, I want to know how our Mary Kelly obtained a copy of the newspaper sketch of herself which was not drawn until after her death.

Hi,
Logic says, that it is highly unlikely that a great great grand-daughter of Mary Kelly should come forth to publish a book [at that RRP] if there was substance in it.
If it is a work of fiction fair play
If it is intended to pretend otherwise..foul play
I guess we however. will have to judge the book on its release, who knows we may have to eat humble pie..I for one, would love it to be genuine.
Regards Richard.

When the book is released we will need a volunteer (or two or three) to work on a review!
Thanks,

I think the drawn newspaper sketch of Kelly in the locket is just being used for promotion purposes for the book cover .. I think the proposed original just has John Williams in it ..
Mary found a small wooden box containing Mary Kelly's locket. The locket contained a picture of a man; a man she had always thought was her great grandfather. Now she realizes that the photo contained in the locket is that of Sir John Williams.
