As we haven't settled the issue of which murders are and are not by the same hand, the answer has to be 'no'. Was Lynn baiting a trap for the unwary? Surely not!
I won't always agree but I'll try not to be disagreeable.

Are you arguing for the Ripper and Torso murders all being by the same hand?

        Hello DLDW. Thanks.

I think the best way to solve who killed "MJK" is to find out whom she was.

Once that's done, it may be relatively easy to find her killer.

        Cheers.

I think we might figure out who"JTR" was before we figure out who "MJK" was. Or rather verify who she said she was.

            Not at all.
Are the Torso murders all linked to Whitechapel and Spitalfields ?
I'm therefore merely arguing that JtR did exist, that there was one guy, and one guy only, behind the murders of the C5 and probably some other victims (Smith, Tabram, McKenzie).

Yes. And btw, we know whom she was : a prostitute of the East End, who was once about to marry one Joseph Fleming.

                Likely correct.

                  Hello David.

"And btw, we know whom she was. . ."

Splendid. If you would be so kind as to post her biographical information I'd be much obliged. I could then verify with Ancestry.

                  Cheers.

                    What for ?

Oh, I see. She was an Irish terrorist or a secret agent, passing herself as a prostitute in Spitalfields.

And if you could prove this, you'd tell us who was her butcher.

Splendid ! - at the very least.

                    Cheers

Well, I'd like to know as much about her as Polly and Annie.

                      Cheers.

Yes, but you won't find a better suspect than Fleming in her childhood.
Fact is that she was a prostitute living in the East End, just like the other victims.

                        Cheers

Fleming is a strong suspect,in my book.

Rest assured, that interpretation will never fade. Adjusted maybe (as to final number), but the theme will always remain the dominant one.

The response to the question I think could be answered best by the recently departed, by his desire, PhilH. Accuracy. The recording of history properly.

In one respect yes, except due to the extent of the mutilations, if you consider Fleming by defacto you are also considering 'copycat'.
Unless, you choose to ascribe the whole series to him, and that is a tall order at present.
