Hi,
Snooping on forums , I came across the Galveston news sept 12th 1889, describing the victim at Millers court as..Mrs Mary Jane Lawrence.
A neighbour of Kelly's informed the press at the time of the murders , that the victim had a man called Lawrence call on her, and she believed him to have been her husband.
Why would after a period of some ten months , when the whole world knew the victim Found in Millers court was one Mary Kelly, would they print Mrs Mary Jane Lawrence?
Was that her real name?
One wonders if that has ever been researched, we know that Davis/Davies, has, also McCarthy, but I have not seen that the Lawrence connection has.
Regards Richard.
