  • MJK murder act of revenge?

Ok this is a theory I've been thinkin of.
The fact that MJK was mutilated so horribly indicates the murderer must been in some sorta rage right?
    ANyway I thought of this.
What if the other 4 victims were to scare her?
Maybe she did something to someone in the past and that person wanted revenge.
Like...he killed the 4 to show what hes capable of.
Also is there a death cert for the man she was supposed to have married? That Davies I mean.

Interesting theory, but why would the ripper target random's, who it's unlikely mary kelly knew? Wouldn't it have made sense to go after people she knew? Unless it was to throw officials off the case? But to be honest, I struggle to see it.

I think Jack was in a rage every time he killed, and would have mutilated every victim to the extent of Mary Jane if he'd had the enclosed privacy he had with her.

Death certificate on Davies (or Davis)? If the story of him is true then there almost certainly would be one. The problem is in zeroing in on exactly who he was, or if he even existed. A few suspects with that last name who died in mining explosions have been looked at but none exactly fit the bill and none are recorded as having been married to a Mary Kelly. The questions are many. Did Mary make up the story of having been married? Was Joe Barnett remembering it correctly when he related it? Was the woman we know as Mary Jane Kelly even using her real name, or was it a street name? It is a historian's nightmare. Extensive info on searches of old census, marriage, birth and death records relating to these questions can be found in the book "Will the Real Mary Kelly...?" by Christopher Scott.

Mary Ann Kelly was blackmailing him.It was revenge in a way.
Doubt MAK will show up outside the area-born and bred there, probably never left.If she does not turn up in the 1891 census...................

I dont think it could have been too rageful. No one heard anything and JTR was able to stick to the plan so to speak. He remembered to get them to the ground and turn their heads away. He must have been able to work with a minimum of blood getting on him.
We have no stories of victims who have escaped. He must have been able to keep his wits about him.

But there was something there no doubt. Rage or hatred against women or whatever it was it seems to have increased with each victim. Wich is where people get confused. They see something personal having been done in a fit of rage. What they fail to realize is that JTR has already killed and mutilated. And he likes it! Thats all it is.

"The London of Jack the Ripper- Then and Now" by Clack & Hutchinson, pages 78-79: Susan Ward, possible victim of Jack the Ripper who survived and fought him off, around Sept. 15, 1888 (an approximate date, though if accurate it would be one week after Annie Chapman) somewhere just off Commercial Street. This report is apparently not certain but describes a woman who in a drunken state, though she was married, "entered into conversation with a strange man for an immoral purpose," and then successfully fought off his attempt to cut her throat by shielding herself with her arm, which was cut in the process and subsequently treated at London Hospital. Her screams reportedly made the attacker flee.

            An "oops" on Jack's part?

yes could have been, i expect he failed to kill quite a few ``chosen`` women.... i.e somebody else was comming along, not in a good enough location, or the chosen woman wasn't his type as he got close to her etc etc.

none of this would've raised suspicion though, just a man walking by; or a man turning around and walking away at range etc.

the Ripper probably strolled past many prostitutes thinking... ``no she's no good, her friend is up the street looking this way`` etc etc.

stay away from quiet dark locations, late at night and if possible; never on your own

but not so for M.Kelly... that area was far from quiet, yes this is odd... but this was a month later and the suspect descriptions were so poor that he probably didn't give a damn.

... presumably he was mildly annoyed when he slashed Eddowes' face, and slightly miffed when he excavated Annie Chapman's abdomen

Although both violent sick acts Sam, neither act in and of itself suggests Anger. Possible defense wounds that resulted from trying to block slashes, scored facial features beyond recognition, a cut and bloodied sheet.

Kates facial wounds were correctly or incorrectly categorized as "nicks"....Marys were like Armageddon. Annies abdomen was opened so he could take the objects he took with greater ease...thats not anger, thats practical cutting.

                  All the best Sam.

Only the cuts on the lower eyelids were thus described, Mike. The rest of the cuts severed the tip of her nose, split her lip, penetrated the gum, and punctured the cheekbone. Make no mistake - these were savage wounds.

I think that means 'began intercourse' rather than 'yelled out a come-on'. In which case this certainly could be a failed Ripper attempt. Did they not get a description?

What if davies did exist and if that explosion did as well?
could it be that MJK was somehow involved in it?
And he could have survived it and then went after kelly.
He killed the other 4 to intimidate her.If he would have killed 4 people she would have known then Kelly could have sniffed something.By killing 4 random ones he didnt scare Kelly herself but all of london. That way the chances that kelly would have sniffed something arent that great.
Also the fact that he removed the organs I kinda got an explanation for that as well except for the kidneys.
Davies and Kelly were supposed to have a child.Could be that she gave it custody when she came to london.Anyway the uterus is needed to get children. And he removed Kellys heart.Heart stands for love as we know.
If davies could have survived and MJK was actually responsible for it he might have snapped.Kelly trying to kill him.Takes away his kid.i heard of lots of murders cause of a situation like this.

I'm sorry, but I think Mary Kelly being the terroristic engineer of the mine explosion that killed her husband may be the most far out conspiracy theory ever advanced in the history of Ripperdom.

I would agree with Kensei's position there.

But it does raise an interesting side of some of the press coverage of the murder....more than one source claimed she had a child living there. I even saw one the other day that said it was her "natural" offspring, rather than a child that she may have befriended and cared for. I read one source that said the child was staying with people above Marys room, and was seen at the window looking into the court. I think Prater may have been suggested as looking after the lad...I dont recall if the "people" were named.

Ive sided on the conventional in some aspects of this particular case...Mary wasnt pregnant, there is no recorded son that lived there, ...but I do think her personal life was the pool of characters her killer came from. And a pregnancy or child could spawn twisted neglect thoughts or conflicts regarding access to her... how and when he wanted.

I dont believe Marys killer showed any sort of knife skills.....and that always made me wonder about how a twisted violent madman without knowledge might proceed with an abortion. Sorry for the graphics, but stabbing and cutting a baby out might just start the mutilations...getting mesmerized by the cutting of flesh act itself.....realizing that later and getting the hell out of there...leaving some cutting activities only partially completed.

Ill say up front that Im playing Devils Advocate here, just looking at the question as a theoretical, but I dont personally believe that what Ive described above happened.

Except perhaps the part where the killer gets immersed in a fantasy world of blood and guts. I think Marys killer got lost...he forgot what he was doing and the danger for a while.

I dont think Jack would have.

                            Best regards
