I think that the murderer(s) must have known Mary (and most probably the other girls who were murdered) in someway, to go into her room not knowing who may come back to the room and disturb him in his act... boyfriend, pimp, girlfriends etc... and being in a court there wouldnt be an easy way to escape if he was caught in the act, I reckon he had a lookout, possibly someone who knew her. Hutchinsons amazing eyewitness account I think is suspicious, I wouldnt be suprised if he was working with someone.
