I have no idea. I gave you the scenario; it's yours to run with. Foreign Man, maybe?
"What our ancestors would really be thinking, if they were alive today, is: "Why is it so dark in here?"" From Pyramids by Sir Terry Pratchett, a British National Treasure.
Celesta, not a bad solution. Or was it Femine Mysterious?!
Stevey, if I remember correctly, those letters around her leg were notes of the police officers on the surface of the photo (only appearing on some copies!)
All the best

"When I know all about everything, I am old. And it's a very, very long way to go!"
Is there any reason why police would write MAy on her leg? Why would they do that?
Can i ask you where you got this information from, please?
Also.. does anyone think it could have been possible that the police DID have a record of the FM on wall, but like the original Mary Kelly photo, it too has been lost?
Has anyone finally confirmed what the FM on the wall at Mary Kelly's room is meant to mean? The only evidence i have heard of it was in the pics & diary of James Maybrick. Why has no one else said anything about it? How did the police miss this important & obvious sign?
Answers & Questions welcome.
Cheers
Hi mc (Can't bring myself to type that[!] full name!)
What on earth possessed you to think there was a FM there in the first place!!??!! Blood dear boy Blood!!! Or maybe (Hi Jukka!) ..... if I must be drawn into this F*** Maybrick springs to mind............!!
Soothsayer- 'Come on...............' there's nothing on that wall apart from blood and general day to day grime!!!

Maybe it's short for 'Find Me when you can, Mishter Lusk.'

Or was that the mark of the cat!? Seriously that room was full of who knows what on the walls/floor/bed and let's face it it's easy to see anything in the odd stain if you look hard enough.. .Pass the toast with the face of Jesus on it please!!!
It is definately there, if it was blood splatter and then it dribbled down it would not form the letters FM!. I think the police would have over looked it, cos the wall would have been dirty and other bits of blood too, they probably would not have thought it was anything.
I can't believe the detectives would have missed it. I think the angle at which the photo was taken proves they didn't miss either the words MAy, nor the FM.
I believe, along with the original photo, that the record of the letters being there must have been lost. Either that or there just isn't any letters there at all, and we should all have our heads feeling for taking in exactly what the hoaxer wants us to see.
But I also have a hard time believing that a hoaxer, who wanted to blame Maybrick, managed to see these letters that many other people can't, (even when pointed out to them) and it all fit so perfectly into their story.
Even if there were an ' FM ' on the wall - which there wasn't - then it could mean anything couldn't it ? Theres no evidence of a connection to Maybrick.
