Yes I'm sure she'd prefer being referred to as the Millers Court victim rather than her actual name.

I have a horrible suspicion that the reason that he never cut her hair could be..

    hair doesn't bleed.

The reproduction is not the point, GUT. If the story is true, big IF, about George Payne finding the original lock of hair in Sgt. Edward Badham's belongings, then it would be significant. A reproduction is a copy of the original, as I'm sure you know.

    lock of hair

I've often wondered how true this story, https://www.etsy.com/listing/1247053...-ripper-victim, is regarding George Payne and Edward Badham's grandson.

The item is a reproduction, but what of the story?

Unless Jack the Ripper had a special kinky need for cutting hair he would have no reason for doing so. None of the victims seem to have had their hair cut by the killer.

    Hi,

    Hair

I had always thought the hair was left intact so everyone would know, or assume, the woman in the room was in fact Mary Jane Kelly.
