September 22 murder near Gateshead

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry if this has been posted somewhere else, I couldn't find it if it was.
Shortly after Annie Chapman's murder there was another murder of a woman that took place that caused the people of the East End to believe that the killer had finally left the area. This murder took place on September 22nd at Birtley Fell near Gateshead.
Does anyone have any information on this victim? If the people of the East End felt the killer had moved on to different "hunting grounds" was it because of the way this woman was killed? Could this have been a Ripper victim?
Just wondering if anyone has any info.

Her name was Jane Beardsmore (sometimes spelled Beatmoor) and William Wadell was hanged for her murder. If you search Beatmoor, Beardsmore, or Waddell with the search function on the message boards or in the press reports section you'll be able to locate more information.
