    Hi Kuro,

    Welcome to Casebook!

Interesting first post, and this looks to be the correct thread for it. I'm sure there would be interest if you were to post a little more detail.
I won't always agree but I'll try not to be disagreeable.

There was a woman (I think) who briefly posted on here several years ago who said that her relative (great-uncle?) worked on the Gill case. I don't remember the screen name but maybe it's in the archives somewhere, that is, if the thread wasn't lost in the crash.
This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

        Hi Stan/Kuro

I have a dim recollection of reading something like that a few months back...was it perchance:-

For my part I thought there was more too, but can't find it just now...

        All the best

          Hi Dave:

The woman came on here asking about a Ripper murder that her relative worked on as a policeman. She didn't know about John Gill so it was on some general thread but she was able to give enough details about the murder that several of us had little doubt that she was talking about Gill. I would guess it was 6 or 7 years ago so if it was right before the crash it might be lost or maybe it's on one of the CDs.
