Has anyone got any info regarding an attack on Alice Aldam, a woman from Whitechapel who is alleged to have been attacked by the Ripper? She was born Alice Wellstead in 1863.

Alice was my great grandmother and if you knew the women in our family you'd know that The Ripper was lucky to get away with his life ! I've seen e'm go toe to toe with big tough guys and winJust thought I'd put that in the pot.

I'm very surprised that no one has asked you about the family story about the incident.
Would you please share?
Thanks,
Curious
P.S. I like to think I know women like your great-grandmother and perhaps might even be one.
P.P.S. If you prefer to e-mail me privately, that too would be ok. I'd just be very interested in hearing the story.Last edited by curious; 09-19-2010, 04:57 PM.
