It just occurred to me that every one of the canonical 5 were found extremely quickly after death. Even Kelly, given that she was killed in a room and could have lain their for days, was found in a timely fashion. And the other 4 were all found almost immediately after death. I don't think this makes any difference to the case, except that it suggests to me that JtR wanted those bodies found quickly, and may well have hung around to see the sensation. It would have been very easy to kill a woman in a quiet back-alley where she could have lain for a couple of hours before discovery. Instead, he kills in areas of heavy thoroughfare where the bodies are found fast. Even the court off Berners Street could be considered high-traffic given that there was a busy club there where men were coming and going all the time.
