  • Stride conversation with the ripper

Inspired by Jeff Hamms excellent analysis of chapmans conversation with her killer which prompted her to say "no", I posit here the probable IMHO conversation that Stride had with the riper suspect that was overheard by the witness Marshall that prompted the suspect to say to Stride-"You would say anything but your prayers."

Stride: your not Leather Apron are you?(jokingly) (and remember that witnesses Best and Gardner had just previously said to Stride-That's Leather Apron getting around you.)

    Man: You never know (jokingy/teasingly)

Stride: well id better say my prayers then

Man: you would say anything but your prayers.

Ive posited this before, but its been awhile. But its a narrative that makes sense to me, especially taking Best and Gardner into consideration. Also, considering that stride was seen with this man (peaked cap man) wandering about a bit, perhaps having a drink with and him buying her something and IMHO the type of personality the ripper had-- any way I think I nailed it.
