Hello all,
I came across this Swedish site..
and the article is by JAN-INGVAR OLSSON.
It goes through quite a few details of the Stride life and death, but the thing that hit me was the final line...
Elizabeth Stride begravdes efter obduktionen på svenska kyrkogården i Brookwood, Woking, sydväst om London.
This translates as
Elizabeth Stride was buried after an autopsy in the Swedish cemetery in Brookwood, Woking, South West of London.
I have never heard of this before. I may be mistaken, but could somebody kindly confirm that this cemetery has never been quoted before in any book, etc?
Apart from the fact that it goes against every known fact of her burial, I would really be interested to know if anybody else knows of this strange comment?
best wishes
Phil
