  • Any tests?!

    Hello you all!

    I was thinking about one basic thing;

    Did or has anyone ever tested the time-frame between Stride and Eddowes?!

    I mean; "murdering" Stride on the spot and then rushing to the other event and "committing murder". If this has been done, how well did the "Ripper" fit into the time-frame of the original murderer?!

    All the best
    Jukka

    If you mean how long does it take to get from one point to the other, I did it in 14 minutes at a brisk walk. Plenty of time to flee the first scene, find and accost Kate and talk her into entering Mitre Square.

      It was estimated to be 10 minutes in 1888, when there was no car traffic to slow down for.
