Why no victim page for Ellen Bury?

On Casebook, the victims page is divided into 'generally accepted (canonical) victims' and 'other alleged ripper victims'.

Bury is listed as a suspect based primarily on the murder of his wife and what he did to her, in conjunction with his close match to the profile of the killer, good fit to some of the witness descriptions and proximity to Whitechapel. So why is there no 'other alleged ripper victims' page for Ellen, especially give the questionable nature of some of the other alleged victims listed there?

I suggest there should be one, covering:
    • Her background and how she became tangled up with Bury
    • Relevant details of from the trial notes
    • Full details of both medical reports

    Just and idea.

There’s a section for Carrie Brown (USA) and Fairy Fay (non-existent) so I don’t see why not Wulf. Run it by Jon Menges who could add the heading. You could write the background info piece?

Trevor will want a section for Juliana Hoffman though.

And all of George Chapman's victims?

What about the boy Lechmere ran over?

agree. then youd have to put deemings, creams etc victims in there

True, but the police at the time did interview Bury as a potential ripper. Is Ellen Bury a less likely suspect than Carrie Brown in America? Or Emma Smith who, from her own lips, said that she was attacked by a gang. Or the three torso victims (accepted that some connect the 2 series)? Either way though, I don’t feel strongly about this issue.

Yes agree, could get too complicated. All I was thinking was that her lower body injuries are the closer to a ripper murder, almost identical in certain respects, than any of the other non canonical victims committed by a very plausible suspect. You could argue that the other examples aren't plausible - Chapman the poisoner, Lechmere running over a boy can't be called a ripper murder.

That should read ‘victim’ of course.
