Oh, I never judge, Chris, I compare, and that comparison shows me that you pop up whenever the established theory is threatened.
But help is available for those locked into a cult situation and I would suggest you seek that help.

Wow - this'll teach me to pick today to catch up with 'Suspects' posts after a couple of months' absence. It's like having déjà vu in reverse!

      How very dare you, Cap'n?

I'm sure Chris would never do anything of the sort - any time, any place, anywhere - unless it was something that mattered very dearly to him indeed.

Can you pop down from the crow's nest and fix me a Martini and a plate of your best whelks before I come up on board and see any more light? I think on balance I'd prefer things the way they were before - all hazy and hard to fathom.

      Love,

Since I alluded to this on another thread, here are the images that vanished from post 1.

        Footnote of Cook's book:

New Zealand's Radio Records on the date claimed by Cook:

        Left column- same schedule

Since anyone who knows me knows that Andrew Cook and I have communicated with each other off and on for a few years, I repost the following from post one:

"In a communication with this author, after being confronted with the utter lack of evidence that this program took place on the date and station specified in his book, Andrew Cook admitted that there was "certainly no record" of the broadcast ever having occurred. Mr. Cook said that he relied solely on the living Melville family's insistence that these talks were given by their deceased ancestor, and on that specific date."

Mr. Cook is a very intelligent, accommodating, and friendly man whom I have spoken to on a number of occasions. Even though, I question his stretching of the evidence in this case.
