There was a Casebook discussion about Tumblety getting robbed in Hot Springs, Arkansas (pronounced Ar-kan-saw) on Wednesday, April 15, 1891. The press articles are first up in the Press Reports section of Tumblety. The question being, of course, is that, if he was there on that date, could he have been in New Jersey to murder Carrie Brown on Wednesday, April 23. The answer is, yes, he could have, it was a two day train ride, although that may be a seriously moot point - (see Wolf’s post on the Carrie Brown thread).
