    Darth Vader-Torquemada:

"Wow, British accents are soooo cool. Huh, Huh, Huh."

    Huh? Mike's from Britain?? Howaboutthat,huh....

    -----------------------------------------

Back to the thread discussion for a moment here...

I am going to set up a thread for all members to list the many fabrications that Stephenson uttered during his life. The last thing....and I have mentioned this many times...the last thing I would want to see is people not discuss this fascinating character. There is no separating him from the Whitechapel Murders. He is ingrained to it forever and may have, once more, may have written more than the letters we know him to have written and it would be awful not to elaborate on that very possibility amongst ourselves.

Outside of JMenges' particular "favorite" character, Francis Tumbelty...I would rank Stephenson as or close to the good Doctor in terms of interest.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the Gold Toilet, it arrived this morning!!!
How, I didn't get a dressing room, but the air conditioned trailer makes up for that!!

      Righto, Mr Stephenson.

I have spent the last couple of years of my life looking at this guy, his family and roots. From the 1st ever entry in a Trade Directory of his grandfathers company, to the last.
From the birth of his mother and father, right to the last mention of the Stephenson's or Dawber's.
Let me tell you this, its awful spending so much time trawling through all the official records, just to end up stood at a grave, thats when it hits home that these were people like you and I!!

My first point to add is thus,
Both the Dawber and Stephenson family were religious, at any one time they were living close to, having ceremonies in, and occasionally getting thrown out of churches.
There closest friends were religious figures, and RDS sister married a holy man.

Richard Stephenson jnr was thrown out of St Silas Church in Hull, not for evil doings or desecrtion of the place, but because the Church Wardens were acting improperly!!
How does he know this.....because he worked as a Church warden himself!!

RDS was married in a Church, which is kinda funny for a Black Magician, I am not saying it has never been done, but surely if he wanted to show just how black he was, he would have found a way around it.
He wrote the Patristic Gospels in later years, and previous to that edited sermons!!
      Not very black!

During the Stephenson and Dawber family resided in Hull, they were involved with the Primitive Methodist Movement, a religious movement which was an offshoot of methodism, but preaching the basics of the religion.
A movement which began in George Yard in Hull!!

Anyway, take a look from the begining of the Stephenson and Family thread I have created on here.
      It is fully referenced!!
      Regards Mike

        More "Stuff"

        51. That there is any known "ritual" as Stephenson claims in the Dec. 1st letter, involving organs from prostitutes for black magic rituals....or any ritual for that matter.

        52. That Stephenson "lived off of " women as claimed by Ivor Edwards.
Stephenson allegedly was responsible for concocting the chemicals ( I say "allegedly" since someone in our field is working on this Pompadour Cosmetique Company angle...and we may be in for a surprise. ) used for the cosmetics in the PCC. Cremers and Collins supplied the cash, who supplied more is anyone's guess, but RDS held his weight....allegedly.

Stephenson's wife may have been working in the domestic help field at some point while they were together, but that hardly constitutes "living off" a woman, since RDS may have had and probably did have some line of work. Totally baseless claim without source material.

        53. The list of attributes that Melvin Harris claimed RDS "fit"...doesn't...in Mr. Harris's stab at profiling.

        54. Contrary to Harris's claim that Stephenson "developed a taste for blood in war", there is no record of this bloodthirsty non-suspect ever committing acts of violence against anyone...and the tales from days with Garibaldi may be invention as well.

        55. That RDS admitted being Jack The Ripper to anyone ( in the True Face of JTR ) is not only false...but that he claimed this is not even in the book.

        56. That he confessed the above to Mabel Collins intimately is without provenance.

        57. His interpretation..or rather misinterpretation of the word, Juives, was not
intended to "throw the police off" or any other claimed reason. RDS just goofed.

        58. That there...ahem...that there is a giant pattern of a "sacred fish" over Whitechapel... I floundered for a moment on this one and got a haddock from laughing so hard !!!! I hurt my cods !!

          More winners...

          59. According to Ivor, the only "evidence' to show that RDS ever had a run-in with the police was when he (RDS) was arrested over the WM... Page 196, JTRBMR.

Redundant,yes...since this has already been pointed out as hearsay or a lie,in the first place...but when its mentioned that "evidence" existed that he was arrested, thats false.

          60. That Anne Deary Stephenson was his mother's ( RDS ) servant lady.

False. She worked for RDS" older brother, Richard.

          61. This has just a little to do with the bogus theory of Stephenson, but nevertheless, its worth mentioning:

Page 62, same book as before...in regard to Stride's murder and I quote:

" From the medical evidence accumulated,it can be said with certainty that the killer possessed medical knowledge..."

          'Nuff said.

          62. On page 213, a sign of the Pompadour Cosmetique Co. is featured with a figure of a woman. In the caption, its remarked that Donston "liked" to write with red ink.

          Again, a sourceless claim.

          63. That Stephenson was "known to have been a kept man"---page 165.

Once more, no basis or source.

          64. That Stephenson was not a drunk ( Edwards, page 189 ) but he kept "drugs" to stave off the DT's (Edwards, page 188..yes,the previous page). Inspector Roots ( same book, page 194 ) clearly states that RDS "always carries drugs to sober him and stave off delerium tremors".

Apparently,Stephenson could also go swimming without getting wet.

          65. Was a known gambler ( page 164...same book).

          Again...yawn...no source.

          66. Entered Customs House in Hull in March 1863...page 245

He can't even get this right...RDS entered the Customs House on April 25th,1863 and was released( fired) on December 31st, 1868.

          67. Stephenson claimed to have taken advantage of weekends at LH when staff was reduced.

Thursday evening isn't a day in a weekend and neither is Friday morning. Kelly was killed/found on a Friday morning.

          More to come...
