Personally he does nothing for me.

Really doesn't do a thing for me either, but he is good looking. If you get a chance compare his face with his father Mr. Justice Sir James Fitzjames Stephen (the judge at the trials of Israel Lipski and - more notoriously - Florence Maybrick). Mr. Justice Stephen had a jowlier face (too much good Victorian dinners?) but did look his son a bit. Possibly they shared mental conditions as well.
