I recently read her challenge to prove that Sickert wasn't in london at the time but wasn't Walter in France and doesn't his letters back to London from him and his wife constitute proof that he was in France. Please explain her reasoning that this isn't proof.

Sickert Murder 40 women?...I'm not convinced this is a 'LIE'

I guess its the same debate I've raised with Magpie (yes I am taking your views on board just thin on time today.)

Patricia is surely putting forward a theory as to what may or may not have happened...I dont think she's lying..it's theorizing?

The brilliance of a sweeping brush like this is that she just say's..I think 40 prove other wise...and if you prove he didnt kill Tabram she just says..oh well he did 39.

Thats lots of disproving to do.Should keep you busy foreever and she knows it.

Of course the idea that JtR did for more than about eleven is stretching it beyond belief but its not lying. I know that some posters here have it down to about three..Nichols. Chapman. Eddows.

I'm happy around seven or eight. But this is opinion not fact and I'm not lying.

... i think that paragraph pretty much sums up what were dealing with here.

seems that oprahs book clubs gain was the f.b.i.s... gain!

Many thanks for this link Joel, of course its valid.

Interestingly enough she appears to be laying down the guantlet for someone to prove JtR was someone else..which is far more interesting.

Now there's a challenge I would like to except.

      Many thanks Jeff

PS I was also trying to turn up some new info on Cornwall and came across this bizarre video on Utube...I cant work out if its some odd religious sect or soft porn for people with a cleavage fetish...Truely Bizarre but Patricia related, I think

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

She got a pretty hefty advance from the publisher that was probably right up there just to start with, and then she donated the Sickert paintings she bought with most of that money to a university -- getting a big tax write off and publicity for doing so. Considering that the publisher is still willing to release another copy of the book I don't think you have to worry that she lost any money.

I don't think it is Mike, I think its a serious religeous message, she quotes a church at the beginning but i don't know for sure, its quite bizarre.

Its a strange day, I actually agree with the Norder?

Money makes money as they say, and the damaged painting was insured..its hard to believe she made a loss..not that i have anything against people making money..my favorite program is the Apprentice.

I assume that by the knife your reffering to Don Rumblow's knife currently being shown at the docklands exhibission?

I dont know if you know the history of the knife. But for many years it was kept as a gardening implement in someone's back garden..

I dont see what DNA you would hope to extract from it? The victims or Jacks?
I would tend to think that the most likely DNA to find on that particular knife would be the previous gardening owner's (it seems unlikely that s/he would have used it all those years and not sustained a cut or scrape off of it at some stage), or possibly Don Rumbelow's. Neither would prove anything about old Jack, or Mary Kelly, or any of the others though.

Absolutely. The only DNA that might tell anyone anything is here:

The grave of the most famous victim of Jack The Ripper, Mary Jane Kelly, at St Patrick's RC Cemetery, Leyton, London.

And the church would never allow access. And the only use would be to identify MJK place of origin, not identify jack.

interestingly the video is correct, the grave isn't an exact marker.

This Philip Hutchinson video gets everywere and quite rightly so. Look at his other "Grave location vidoe's" they are really well done and quite touching.

                        • Jeff,

Would you mind if I say something?

Just give it up. You're beating your head against a wall, and sadly becoming quite silly with each responsive post. Give it up now, eh.

I understand, I really do. I had to be told too.

As a nurse I worry, though. Brick walls and banging heads don't really go together well. Just give it up, eh.

                          Sincerely,

                          Lyn

Sorry if Im off thread here..just curious

Banging your head against a brick wall, Jeff. That's all. I was trying to help you. Before Health & Safety decide to move in, in case you should hurt the wall.

Listen, if you really don't want to stop defending a liar, or fabricator as you prefer they're called, and accusing others of all sorts of thing to cover your tracks in words that make it seem you aren't, I suppose it's best I say no more.

Don't worry, the Casebook has been used to my strange, sometimes very strange posts for a long time. Nothing new, they'll get over it.
