    New Sickert Information?

I attach a link to some new Sickert information.

    Allegedly!

Author of The Inevitable Jack the Ripper, Paul Christian, says the 130-year-old piece contains hidden clues to suggest the artist himself was the notorious East London serial killer.

    Hi Barney,

    Thanks for the link.

Please wake me up when it's over.

    Regards,

    Simon

Utter nonsense. You might as well present a Rorschach ink blot in front of us and say it's the face of the killer.

We can all go home then

Nice to see that, just to add authenticity, they finish with a photograph of ‘Mary Kelly!’

Well the painting does appear to be a night scene and the victims were all killed at night so I think the author has pretty much nailed it. It was definitely Sickert.

In the sketch on the back of the painting if the circled figure on the left is Warren (as it obviously is ) who are the other two figures?

Tell me it’s not Gull and Netley

More idiocy. Get some knowledge about this great artist instead of quoting the 'The Daily Heil'

                    Relax Jane,
Is there one single thing in my original post that leads you to believe that I place any credence at all to this ridiculous Daily Mail article?

                    Relax, play some John Prine.

C'mon people. The author wants £15 for his book, so it's got to be true!

                              Yeah, right.
