I wonder if Roger McGough would be the equivalent of Fred Weatherly, Michael Maybrick's partner in rhyme, whose works featured in the Christmas Day 1884 edition of The Times, with none other than our dear old friend Richard Crashaw putting in an appearance in the adjacent column.
