If it were important to me I would point out that 9 times out of 10 when we touch someone's shoulder our hand towards the rear of the shoulder, and unless we're starring in a melodrama the person we touch rarely looks at the hand. In fact, touching someone on the shoulder is a nice way of hiding your hand in plain sight. It's too close! I can't even get my eyes to focus on my shoulder.
