Yes, but more than one celebrity has been surprised by things he or she never knew in his or her autobiography because it was ghost-written. So, who knows . . .

    Don.
The only difference is that I am not using it as an excuse to prop up my own personal beleifs like some. If thats the best shot you and the rest of the gang can come up with an an effort to destroy me you all disappoint me.

Isnt it strange that some files on the Edddowes murder and other connecting ripper material has survived and yet others which it is suggested may have contained the important information we seek seem to have been destroyed.

Those German bomber pilots had a really good selective aim in 1944.

    • Yeah,

The German Bombers were aiming for the Eddowes files as opposed to the Railway stations situated right outside Bishopsgate and Moor Lane stations.

Case files were far more important that the destruction of the transport system.

PS and there's no attempt to destroy you Trevor, you are capable of that on your own. Its more to do with cutting through the unsupported crap you raise and unfounded allegations.

      Personally, you don't phase me.

Don Rumbellow and another had full access to the city files many years ago that is a fact.

Where did you get that info from Trevor? That they have and still are transferring files from the CoLP? And what files are they?

That came from the archives direct when i was filming down there last year and you know full well that it is correct so dont try to play the smart arse with me

And before you answer, please bare in mind that I have been in close contact with the CoLP stand in curator and Record Officer for the past few years.

If you and some of the others put as much effort into trying to unravel this mystery as you do trying to bring me down this case would be solved by now.

Now I am off for my short holiday so sadlyI wont be able to continue with this challenging encounter. So i hope in my absence you and the others will have the case solved by the time I return, no what am i saying more chance of hell freezing over.

Well, that should be a relief for your acolytes -- you will not account for a change of theory because your book was ghosted. But that only makes Bridewell's question about why you changed your opinion on the loss of files from your book to now. What did make you decide that the destruction of files in the war is a canard used to cover up "embarrassing information"?

As it is, you are clearly not a historian else you would know first-hand -- and frequently -- about the innocent destruction or loss of files, both banal and bombshell, by government agencies, businesses and private citizens.

It happens. Accept it and stop playing games in an effort at self-promotion.

          Don.

Ok, firstly are you accusing Don of theft? I assume not. At least I hope not.

Secondly, yeah I'm aware of the transfer of 'files'. However I know that they are nothing to do with the case, the majority being post war. Certainly not in relation to the Eddowes investigation.

I believe its Gay Pride week in France Trevor, so enjoy.

I have never professed to being an historian because Historians look at this case in a totally different light. I dont play games my time is to precious for that.

I am not disputing files were lost or destroyed what i am disputing is that when something is challenged as has been the case regarding suspects. The stock answer is always well there might have been something but it might have been lost stolen or destroyed. To much of a coincidence to suggest that every document every report has been lost stolen or destroyed, Especially when officer in later years stated the police did not have a clue as to the identity of the killer, yet peolle still want to keep these names alive and promote them as prime suspects.

You have to ask the question was there anything in the first place on some of these suspects for it to be lost stolen or destroyed.

I dont self promote I have an agent for that purpose
