Hello all
What is your opinion of the works of R. Michael Gordon (published four books bewteen 2000-2008) about Chapman as Jack the Ripper) and John Emsley (who wrote a whole chapter on Chapman in his Elements of Murder book (2006).
I am highly surprised (and disappointed) that there has been no discussion (that I can find, anyhow) on this site about these books. There is also no discussion or debate in the place reserved for them on this site to discuss the podcast with R. Michael Gordon, which is the only podcast there has ever been on here about Chapman's candidacy.
I find the lack of discussion of these two authors' claims about Chapman very odd, actually. I'm seeing them quoted in other works as authoritative sources of info on Chapman. Is that how you see them?
So, if you have read any of these works and have an opinion, I would be very pleased to hear it!
