    Khan Mission

Through their research into JTR, has anyone come across the Khan Mission in London? Is it the sort of place where someone might head upon release from prison, around 1886/7, for example?

    Hi Mystery

There was a diplomatic mission, or series of diplomatic missions, concerning Afghanistan, Pakistan etc, which is obviously not what you're looking for.

The only other thing I've seen was a man Kahn (sic) who was involved with the Highgate School Mission, whatever that was. But that was late 90s.

It's interesting that the thread about Panizini Copycat contains a link to an article on waxwork museums and Anatomical Vensues in which an exhibit called "Dr. Khan's Anatomical Museum" is mentioned.

No idea if he is the same person, or any relation, to the Khan of Khan Mission -- and it may well have been an alias.

Khan Mission, London could have been an assumed spelling instead of Kahn Mission. I'm unsure whether there could be a link though or if the revised spelling might help.
