    Julius Wirtkofsky?

I've seen this name mentioned on other JTR forums, but Google doesn't pull up much on him. He was apparently another Polish Jew of interest to the case. Apparently he was heard to remark that he would "kill all prostitutes"?

    Is this actually Nathan Kaminski?

    Seaside Home?

    Hello Harry. Good find.

I have toyed with the idea that he provided the basis for "The Seaside Home" business.

Have you read his entire story?

    Cheers.

      Blast from the past.

      Hello (again) Harry.

      Go here, post #7.

Discussion of the numerous "witnesses" who gave their testimony either to the press or the police during the murder spree.

      Cheers.

        Hello Lynn,

Thanks for that. Details are very scant, I see.

I'm surprised this lead hasn't been explored further by Ripperologists.

          basis

          Hello Harry. Thanks.

My take is that this was investigated by the Met. It seems likely that--given the language and talk of a "home"--that a would be identification took place, or nearly so. And I would not be surprised if this did not provide some basis for the "Seaside Home" affair.

Modern researchers? Well, the story is a bit mundane.

          Cheers.
