Based on today's technology and what not how quickly would Jack the Ripper have been caught; in your opinion? Based solely on what we know of JTR's MO, habits, and what is actually known of him

Hi Clark , I'd say just as Jack had the upper hand back in 1888, with too may advantages in his favor, the police of today would in my opinion would surely have way to much firepower to apprehend him in a very short time.

within 24hrs there would probably be a decent CCTV image circulating and he'd be arrested within 48hrs i reckon

what do you mean way too much firepower if you don't mind me asking? I mean if you use a nuclear bomb to kill a fly, yeah the whole of the area is destroyed, but so is the fly; right?

do you think there's a modern day JTR? As in, using the same type of knowledge of the area he's in, he's aware of law enforcement, how the move, any surveillance and so on. Who would the modern equivalent be? Zodiac, The Bone Collector, any opinions?
