If Jack the Ripper WERE one of the suspects is it safe to assume that his death wasn't pleasant? Everytime i come across a Ripper suspect, died by hanging this, died of gangrene that, poisoned here, killed there...did they all die an unpleasant death?

Hi Clark,
I suspect that in this era, before advances in palliative care, most people likely died an unpleasant death.

Very few would have lived to old age and passed away peacefully in their sleep. This was also the era pre anti-biotics so you can be well assured most who caught viral or bacterial diseases did not die comfortably, let alone those killed through punishment or another’s hand.
