Hi all,
I was wondering if any research had uncovered what happened to W H Piggott after his arrest in Gravesend, I know he was taken back to London for questioning and as far as I know was certified insane and then sent to an asylum.
Do we know which asylum ? I'm guessing Colney Hatch.
I Have been reading my local newspaper of that period with a full account, and in the story it say's that he was seen carrying a black bag before his arrest, am I right in thinking that this was the first report of a black bag that often cropped again in certain reports linked with JTR ?
