George Chapman (1865 - 1903)
a.k.a. Severin Antoniovich Klosowski.
Stocky build.
Square shoulders.
Moustache.
A surgeon (Knew how to cut up a body with precision).
He was in the habit of staying out into the early hours of the morning.
The murders ceased once he moved to America, where another was killed in a similar fashion.
The story told by Chapman's wife of the attempt to murder her with a long knife while in America.
Chapman had an outrageous sexual drive.
Chapman had a regular job, as did the Ripper (since the murders all occured on weekends).
Chapman was single and free of family responsibility, as was the Ripper (to allow for his being out at all hours of the night).
Wife-poisoner (serial killer).
Q. Can George Chapmam reform himself to being a calculating poisoner seven years later?.
He sure can.... Because if he went back to his old ways the police would have him. It would only be a matter of time before they put 2 & 2 together?. I guess George wasn't stupid enough & feared on his arrival back to London he had to cease such barbaric killings or the police would inevitably figure it out.
Jack the Ripper's face 'revealed'.

According to H.L Adams in the book The Trial Of George Chapman, when Chapman was arrested Inspector Abberline is reported to have said to the arresting officer George Godley, 'I see you've got Jack the Ripper at last'.
