I would like to know the outcome of what your friend discoveres,when they do their channeling.

I have the excellent book by Pamela Ball,when she tried to contact the spirits of Jack and his victims. I enjoyed reading it very much.

I hope he has some success in his quest.

Why is it that no one ever asks important questions like "What is the True Meaning of Life?" or "Please describe the Afterlife" or "How do we ensure that we don't ever end up like you, an evil and miserable spirit trapped between worlds???"


It kind of reminds me of an episode of the Simpsons where Homer is given 3 Magic Wishes & can ask for absolutely anything he wants- and he says something like " Ooh, I want a big turkey sandwich!" He gets it, Wish #1 is used up.
His daughter Lisa is yelling, "Dad, ask for World Peace!" and he responds, "Well, but I really want a Turkey Sandwich"...Wish #2 is gone....

Stupid Responses

Considering the stupid responses I have gotten, I will ask a few questions myself. I was hoping for more intelligent questions from Casebook people that other researchers would also appreciate.

However, I am pleased to read that now people know where to get beer and what people think about Jon and Kate.

If any of you are interested in what I ask JTR and what Kevin discovers will have to search for my column online.

I am very disappointed in the JTR fans found here.

Let me start off by saying that on another thread, I deplored the reception that you were getting on this thread. However, you now done just gone and ruined whatever sympathy I had for you.

Let me explain your error. No ONE on this site is a JtR fan. We study the case. Maybe that's where you are going wrong. WE don't admire him, we don't think he's cool and we don't appreciate being called fans of a butchering, slaughtering jackass.

So while I agree that if people can't answer the question as asked then they really ought to avoid threads like this, especially if they find the subject too ludicrous to discuss in any reasonable fashion; now you've just gone and made me irritable by thinking this "contact" attempt is just some pathetic fan girl trying to get in touch with her idol.

Kwanitaka, I have a serious question for you:

If you believe it is possible for your channeler friend to voluntarily contact Jack the Ripper's 'Spirit', aren't you afraid that doing so might somehow provide that malevolent spirit with a conduit by which he could somehow "return" to this world?

Even if you are a "Jack the Ripper fan" as you put it, I'm sure you wouldn't really want to risk inadvertently providing a sick loathsome serial killer with a way to come back and re-manifest in this plane of existence.

After all, channeling the Ripper is very different from channeling Gandhi.

That's a sincere question; I'd be interested in hearing your response and perhaps the response of your friend.

My only sadness is that I myself am not a Ripperologists and therefore have little to contribute.
But I know my psychics and they are a bunch of mental feebles.
Let these people ,who have taken the effort to estabish a very fine web site,have the chance to have their jollies and blow off a little steam.
They've done such a good job over the years in treating a serious part of English history resopnsibly.
