The birth of the grandson of Ellen Copping, Harry, was registered as follows:
    1888 Quarter 1
    Hackney
    Henry Copping

As John and Emily Copping were only listed as having two daughters, the only logical candidate to be the child's mother is the unmarried Emily Copping. At the time of the child's birth she would have been about 20 years old.
There is, of course, no way of knowing how long Fleming lived with the Copping family, but if were still with them in early 1887 (the date of the child's conception) then the identity of the child's father beomes intriguing...
    Pure speculation, needless to say!

Note also: Ann/Annie was born c.1879, but John died in 1876!
