Druitt Connection to Royalty

I apologize if this has already been reported but I just saw an interesting story reported in December 1888 where Prince Albert Victor had come to Dorset and was throwing a ball and who was on the guest list? Montague Druitt!
Wouldn't that have been one sight to see if it had ever come to pass?
But alas, poor Monty was floating in the Thames when this all happened.
Just a little bit of trivial history I ran across and thought I'd share.

Thanks Robert. On the guest list for the ball was -

Savoury, Mr., Grammar school, Wimborne.

The Druitts were associated with the school, Dr William Druitt and James Druitt were governors. It is where Georgiana's husband William Hough taught in the mid 1880's
