    Looking at census for 1881 I note a Matron at Elliott Place by this name.

    Anyone know if she was n any way related to the author?

        I presumed they were not related because they were from totally different classes; George Sims being born to the rarefied upper classes.

        Plus, if you could have had such an insider tipster to Druitt being [maybe] the killer, his becoming a Ripper suspect--outside his immediate family--would have happened much earlier than 1891.
