I have done some more work on C H Anderson
On 17 April 1888, an advertisement appeared in the Times for the Trust Company of England
One of the Directors is listed as:
C.H. Anderson Q.C., M.P. of 9 King's Bench Walk, Temple
Druitt certainly had chambers here at this time.
Anderson is listed in 1881 as follows:
39 Montagu Square, Marylebone
Head: Charles Henry Anderson aged 43 born Yorkshire - Barrister at law
Wife: Ada Anderson aged 21 boprn London
Anderson stood as M.P. for Elgin and Nairn, Scotland, in 1885 but was unsuccessful. At that time a short biography was published in the The Times:
"Anderson, C.H., (Elgin and Naorn Shore) - Mr Charles Henry Anderson, Q.C., is a native of Yorkshire, and was born in 1838. He received a private education and the Council of Legal Education awarded him two exhibitions. He was called to the Bar in 1867 at the Inner Temple and as appoined a Q.C. last year. He was an unsuccessful candidate at the last general election."
The biography below is from the Pall Mall Gazette of 8 July 1886 when he stood again for the same constituency
