Well, I always thought that baseball was confusing, but we never had a game that lasted eleven days.
Besides, with all my love for the "National Pastime" here, I still feel that any game where one player has to stand with a funny stick poised on his shoulder, while anther player flings a ball at 90mph or so at his head, is screwy, as is the idea of running from one plate to another to another...in order to return the initial plate.
To me the only game that made logical sense was basketball - you aim at the hoop in the air and try to get the ball into it. No real equipment is needed except the ball and a pair of hoops on tall posts. No funny sticks, or goalie boxes (like in hockey or ... worse golf). No threat of massive injuries when a phalanx of huge men charge you (like in football). And no silly rule like trying to see how long you keep the ball off the ground (like tennis or volley ball)
Which is probably why I enjoy swimming most of all.
