Article From Evening STandard 1932 - bury was buried in a Wall? in 1932 at least - should we ever need to know for DNA purposes (cant say if hes still there of course!)

Also in case it gets lost and interesting link from Med Hist. 1977 July; 21(3): 310–315 stating that The anatomy department at University College, Dundee have his cervical vertebrae (thanks to Phil Carter for that one)

Thanks mate...that latest link works fine and is obviously interesting...however, it doesn't actually enlighten us as to your original "buried in a wall" reference...unless of course I've missed something somewhere...

Yes I see what you mean...I missed that reference yesterday.

I don't know of course, but I'd suspect Bury was buried conventionally in the ground beneath where the memorial tablet is now fixed/embedded.
