This report is quite interesting because its near Bow church quite close to where Bury lived and it was on a Sunday.

Some strange behaviour. Bury was 29 and was said to have a Jewish appearance (from one of the Dundee reporters).

I too spotted this a while back and my first thought, given location and description, was Bury. What could he have been up to on a Sunday that required the use of a foot long knife?

Would the reference to 'a hook at one end' and use in the leather trade indicate that it was like this, only a litle larger...?
