Doss house article

I understand there was an article some time ago in Ripperologist about life in a doss house from the perspective of one of the victims. I have a great need to review any material on doss house life and hoped one of you could tell me how to go about finding the story. I will appreciate any help.

The magazine is free, you know. You just have to ask for it, and they'll send it to you in electronic format. Write to contact@ripperologist.biz, and tell them that you'd like to subscribe. It's a huge magazine, full of fascinating articles about the Ripper and the late Victorian period in general.

There are ample descriptions in the press of the day Janis, just try trawling through our press section here. I for one prefer contemporary reports to retrospectives.
